We had a lovely stay at Easedale Lodge. We hadn't stayed there for 3 or 4 years but we weren't disappointed as everything was fabulous. Sarah and Dave couldn't have been more welcoming and the breakfasts were fab!! Well done Sarah and Dave and good luck in your new venture.

Room Tip: Our room was a little small, but perfectly adequate. Next time, we'll got for a bigger room, bu...

We stopped for two nights at Easedale Lodge. Sarah, the owner was very welcoming. Room excellent. Breakfast excellent. Situated within 2 minutes walk of the centre of Ambleside, Loads of places to eat or have a drink. The white Lion pub has a lovely open fire, especially nice with this arctic weather!! Thanks Sarah. Hope to see you again.

I have just spent the weekend at this lovely B & B. It can't be faulted, the location is excellent in central Ambleside, walking to pubs/restaurants and even walks from the door. We stayed in a lovely deluxe Room at the front of the property, it is spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable too. There is a plentiful choice for breakfast. The hosts Sarah and David are very welcoming and look after you really well. I would recommend it to anybody, you won't be dissapointed and look forward to staying again in the near future. Thank you.

Room Tip: Choose Room 2 or 6.

Easedale Lodge is pretty much faultless. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and convenient. It even offers free parking in the middle of Ambleside. Driving home after our long weekend my wife agreed that it had felt more like visiting 'old' friends than staying in a B & B. Sarah and Dave, thank you.

Room Tip: We had room 7. It has a nice view overlooking the pitch and putt course and the edge of Loughrigg. O...

Would highly recommend a stay here. Fantastic rooms, delicious breakfast (especially Dave's homemade muesli!), lovely hospitality from Sarah and Dave and an ideal location - right in the heart of Ambleside with the shops, restaurants, bus stop and walks right on your doorstep. Couldn't ask for more... We've been here three times and it's always spot on.

I don't usually bother with reviews, but Sarah and Dave make this place worth the effort! Great rooms, lovely breakfasts and hosts that just can't do enough for you. They made our post Christmas/New Year break one we'll remember.

Keep doing what you're doing!
