We went back recently after enoying a Christmas Eve birthday celebration and was not disappointed!
The staff are the friendliest around, nothing is too much trouble and the food is top notch quality.
I would reccomend this place to anyboby that loves fine oriental food at very reasonable prices.Cant wait to go again.

Decided to eat here after a long walk and very cold day. We arrived to a very warm welcome both service and atmosphere. We decided to opt for the happy hour menu and bought a nice bottle of Rioja.

A very good menu and next time we would like to try something off the main menu. Thai Green Curry quite hot although said medium, perhaps thats just me being a wimp!! Nice little find. Staff very friendly and attentive.

We liked, in passing, the look of the 'Jintana' in Ambleside, so we resolved to go there for our first ever Thai dining experience. It was excellent. The service was discreet and sincere; the restaurant itself was most attractive; and the food was interesting and beautifully presented. Very good value for money. We'd definitely go again - and this is a little town seemingly bursting with restaurants (many of which, we feel - from numerous previous experiences - are both over-priced and over-rated). Full-marks, then, to Jintana.

Nothing was too much trouble and when the waitress saw I was struggling with my salad, tad too spicy for me, she offered to replace with a new less spicy one. I didn't have to ask! Very impressed with this attention to detail. Mussoman curry was delicious, highly recommended. Friendly and attentive service.

we went to this thai on recommendation of a friend. although the meal was ok, for the price we paid it was not the most fantastic meal that made me want to rave about it or return.
There were 2 other couples in the restaurant at the time and one table with a mother and 2 young children. despite the fact the restaurant was empty we were all seated in the same area of the restaurant and right next to the screaming children. NOT a romantic couple setting!
the staff there are quite forceful in getting you to order quickly and get you out of there. we ordered soft drinks as we were driving and they seemed to be watered down.
The food that came seemed ok, but as lovers of thai and indian food we have had better. The portion sizes seemed tiny, and on ordering duck spring rolls as a starter, the rolls were filled with mainly vegetables and minuscule amounts of duck! not worth the £7 price tag. The main meals came and these seemed on the small size to. The food was average. service poor. we elected to go to a local coffee shop for coffee and pudding.
