Came in for a coffee and scone today and what a brilliant cafe! Scone was superb! Been in bilbo's a few times and its great to have a cafe not trying to be like a corporate chain, well done!

sensible prices, relaxed attitude to kids, muddy shoes and outdoor gear. Another tasty lunch washed down with a pint of tea. Free wifi, todays paper and friendly staff = 1 happy family.

The move downstairs in July has really improved the ambience of the cafe. The same comfortable sofa's but now there is lots of light from the bay window and the mural on the far wall adds interest.
Same good value breakfast, nice music and friendly staff as always.

We stopped here for a bit of breakfast, slightly over priced for breakfast.
Settled for a bacon bun which was tasty and good tea. Friendly service and comfy sofas. Great atmosphere.
Would visit again but there are cheaper places for just as good if not better breakfasts.

We went in for a late breakfast and ordered sausage and egg, and mushroom and egg, rolls. They came on brown baguettes which were dry and heavy and not very edible. Soft rolls would have been a lot better. The fillings were generous portions (£4 each), but the option of a smaller breakfast roll for about £2 would have been better. Benches are basic and not very comfortable. Service was rather slow and staff seemed hassled, perhaps due to being short-staffed? This cafe has potential to be a great walkers-style cafe but needs improvement and better attention to the quality of some foods served.
