We stopped of on our way to Hull, having read some mixed reviews in the past.
The place is vast, and you could spend at least half a day here if you wanted to. Therefore the entry price represents good value for money.
Some of the history is very interesting. They have a variety of tanks, planes and field guns that you can sit on, go in etc. This is what will appeal to younger families.
There are also a variety of underground bunkers with exhibitions in them - take a jumper as they are very cold!
There is a lot of good educational content, and is all good fun.
Generally the place looks a bit careworn, but for a fun day out it seemed like good value to me.
