Well where do I begin?!
Came here after reading other tripadvisor reviews and seeing a 'free bottle of wine' offer on Facebook, my partner and I thought 'let's give it a go!' And I booked on Facebook for 7.30pm.
As we walked in it was very busy ( due to reopening that night after refurbishment) a jolly young woman with brown hair greeted us and took us to our table. The young woman had to reset the table as we were there and it seemed as though it had not been wiped from previous customers. However they were busy and the three young women on were all very hard working and extremely cheerful. We were told about the Facebook offer as we ordered our food (you have to book through Facebook to receive this offer I think) which was to come with our mains. I chose to have a prawn linguine, which came in a tomato sauce (which I don't like, upon request the waitress said it was no problem to change that to a creamy sauce for me!) Our starters were mussels and cheesey garlic bread, fabulous!! For main my partner had a meaty pasta and both arrived steamy hot! Nice and fresh :) The wine arrived, then we tucked into desserts, even though the some of the menu was unavailable, alternatives were offered. The staff were fantastic and nothing was too much, we also got talking to one staff member in particular (which turned out to be the owners daughter) and she stood with us for a good few minutes having a comfortable conversation with us.
Absolutely worth the £58 we paid for two of us having three courses and two rounds of drinks. It doesn't shout to you from the outside as somewhere of outstanding quality, but it definitely is that! Major recommendation here!
