If you're in Hull shopping, this is an excellent space to get away from the bustle and traffic. Take a sandwich and sit to watch the goldfish and ducks in the formal gardens, or sit around the fountain and do some people watching.

Queens gardens could be very nice, the council certainly try and it is on a direct route through to the main shopping area, however spoiled by the presence of people inflicted by alcohol and loud mouth mums balling abuse at their children... pity !

Right in the centre of Hull a lovely landscaped garden area ideal for tired legs to take a break and have a sandwich or a picnic especially in warm summer months and if your lucky there are occasionally school or local live musical attractions although I have to say it,s sometime since I last saw one myself .
It sometimes looks a little tired lately ,but ,when the grass has just been cut it,s an altogether lovely place to rest up for an hour or so

These gardens are a lovely relaxing place to sit in the summertime. There are 3 big ponds with large carp in them and many many ducks and water fowl. There is also a cafe where you can buy a drink and a snack. There is plenty of grass area for people who like to picnic although it does get quite full with people from the college nearby.
