This charming b & b could not be better situated for the High Street. Everything you could possibly need was supplied and the bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home. Excellent breakfast. Very spacious room. Charming hosts.

We stayed here for 2 nights to attend a wedding in Langton Green. They are a charming couple who run this 2 bedroomed B&B tucked off the Tonbridge Wells high street but close enough to walk to the shops. The bedrooms have individual bathrooms but they are not strictly ensuite. This does not matter at all as it was like having our own wing which was curtained off. Food was nicely prepared and there was much choice along with a desire to please. In addition, the rooms were very clean and well-presented. The bathroom had so many thoughtful accessories like emergency toothbrush. We also had choices of coffees, teas, hot chocolate and mineral water provided as well as biscuits, chocolates and grapes on day one provided in the room. Although when you approach Ash Tree cottage you can wonder quite where you are going to end up as the road turns and turns and goes past a very interesting derelict house waiting to be loved back to life, I would not hesitate to recommend this place nor think twice about a return trip.

Room Tip: We were in the upstairs room however we got a look at downstairs room as we left, and you do get mor...

We stayed here one night between driving from the Hague and flying from Gatwick.

The hosts welcomed us warmly, even though we were a couple of hours early arriving. Such a comfortable room, cosy and plush. The bed was lovely, there was an over bath shower on the ground floor, so we could choose and we both slept wonderfully. The breakfast was delicious, and we arrived to some fresh pineapple (how marvellous). There were some great books available to read.

I'd go back again in a heart beat.

Very nice house, in a private road - didn't realise quite how precious parking space is in Tunbridge wells.

All facilities present and correct, although bath was under the eaves of the roof, so there was no shower.

Hosts were friendly, if a bit on the amusing side of posh.

A charming, relaxing cottage, in a great location. The Rogers were very helpful in informing us about places to visit. We would definately recommend.

Pleasant, comfortable, and spacious, but convenient for the town centre and railway station (and cricket ground). Delightful breakfasts, with fresh fruit. Congenial hosts. Thoroughly recommended.

We loved charming Ash Tree Cottage and our hosts! We felt like a part of the family--although the Rogers were away on holiday, their daughter and son-in-law hosted us during our four-night stay. The accomodations were attractive, clean, comfortable, and roomy, and our hosts were friendly and pleasant. Great breakfasts, too! We would definitely go back, and we would highly recommend Ash Tree Cottage to family and friends.
