“Not much here even it is historic”
Reviewed June 25, 2012

Well, there isn't much here--the spring was actually suspended due to a drought!

“Part of the famous Pantiles”
Reviewed June 22, 2012

An elaberate hole in the ground with unique history. The water is of course rust floured. But it forms part of the wonderful Pantiles, which is a must see. The Pantiles, upper & lower combined score a 5*. I used to live close by, so I know it very well.

“Life in the slow lane”
Reviewed March 27, 2012

I love visiting The Wells. I always try and imagine Victorian and Edwardian ladies with their babies in preambulators or gliding past the shops with their parasols up. What is a great shame is they no longer have "A day at the Wells", where for a fee you could experience the sight and the smells and sounds of even earlier times in history. I hope they consider bringing that back again because it was fascinating and well worth a visit or two. There are, though, some great shops and places to eat and drink there, and it makes for a lovely, lazy stroll down there.

“to be honest, I found this a bit dissapointing”
Reviewed July 23, 2011

to be honest, I found this a bit dissapointing, I'm really sorry. There is not much to see really, I had expected more of this. However, if you do happen to be in Tunbridge Wells, I do think a visit is obligatory.
