Rumoured to be the oldest pub in Kent with a licence going back to 1415 this one time coaching inn is now a beautiful place to visit for its beamed ceilings, roaring log fire in the winter and its good food.
The landlord and lady are both very friendly (so is Charlie the dog!) and have made this a pub worth visiting. It has a good choice of home made food, the fish and chips are wonderful and the steaks are hard to beat.
A traditional English pub with dartboard is becoming a thing of the past and this one in particular should be supported.
