“Great Little Park”
Reviewed February 2, 2014 via mobile

Didn't use the campsite but took the kids for a runaround in the grounds. Safe and away from the main road, a chance for little ones to stretch their legs. Also a good picnic area during the warmer months.

We stayed here primarily so that we could attend the Broadstairs Gala day. The site is very well maintained with good, clean toilet and shower facilities and very friendly wardens. A 15 to 20 minute walk from the centre of Ramsgate, with very good public transport links to Margate, Ramsgate, Broadstairs etc. also conveniently located as a stop over if you want to cycle or hike the Viking Trail. The only negative is that 2 or 3 times a day low flying aircraft come in to Manston, don't let this put you off though as they are not early morning or late night flights, it's just a warning so you know what to expect.

nice quiet campsite in Ramsgate - 20 mins walk to beach and harbour OR use the great bus service less than 5 mins from site. I am relying on public transport and have visted Dover, Sandwich, Manston, Margate, and Caterbury from here. A great base in a nice port town.
The Owners/Wardens are lovely and very helpful - Always happy to make morning coffee or afternoon tea and recharge my laptop and phone.

I took my grandson for his first stay in my very small caravan to Nethercourt and I could not have chosen a better site. We had a warm welcome and offers of help on arrival. The site, in attractive parkland, is kept spotlessly clean. All the facilities are well maintained and clean, showers with plenty of hot water and big enough for an adult and a small boy. There is a utility room with dishwashing and laundry facilities and plenty of information about the area. This is a good area to visit with small children as there are a number of lovely sandy beaches nearby. The play park on the edge of the site is a bonus, as are the free air displays in the form of big aeroplanes flying over occasionally – very exciting without disturbing the peace. We will be going again I am sure.

Found this place courtesy of the Ordnance Survey map. Small and friendly and not full when we were there, we were nicely spaced about. Does not have the huge facilities of some of the big sites, but was very reasonable. Toilet block clean though not the hottest, strongest shower I have ever had.
Ten minute walk to the promenade and a good walk down into town and back.
Would recommend for its postion and friendliness.
