My husband and I stumbled across this little Gem of a tea room whilst walking back to our car after a walk along the coastal path and marina.
We walked up some steps and discovered a row of tea rooms/restaurants all tucked away. As we were having dinner that evening we opted to have a late lunch of a High Tea. The sun was shining albeit a little chilly but couldnt resist sitting outside enjoying the views over the Marina. Lovely selection of food arrived - very fresh sandwiches/scone, jam and cream and couple of small cakes - large pot of tea which allowed us both to have 3 cups each. This was a Sunday and I am sure during the week there would be home made cakes offered on the High Tea - however it was ample for us. Hot water is offered to top up the pot.
High Tea is £6 per person but £11.50 for two. This tea room is not open on Monday.
A very wide selection of food on their menu from soup/sandwiches/desserts and specials.
When next in Ramsgate will definitely re-visit this quaint little tea room.

Great breakfast, ok so mushrooms were extra, but everything was cooked perfectly and tasted superfresh. Upstairs was full, outside way too cold - even with blankets provided, so we sat downstairs in the cosy basement. Even had a range of knick knacks to buy to rememeber your visit

Grab a table outside and enjoyed a sausage sandwich and a mug of tea. Proper hand cut chunky very fresh bread, sausages lovely, and tea hot. The setting could not be better summer or winter over looking the royal harbour. Would of liked to squash down a piece of homemade cake, another time maybe. Just up the hill across from the Travelodge skip your breakfast there and come here you wont regret it.

These ladies - mother and daughters - have owned several restaurants in and around Ramsgate for many years. I always had splendid breakfasts after starting races from the end of the pier in my Race Officer days several years ago!

Now they have a tiny cafe on Westcliff Arcade, under the Royal Temple Yacht Club. It's an absolute gem!

Those in the know sit outside under fleecy rugs, in all weathers, to enjoy the first class brekkies. Al cooked freshly. Proper toast - no sliced bread here! Mushrooms, tomatoes well-done, herby sausages and eggs fresh from - well you know what I mean!

It doesn't end at breakfast .... Plat de Fruits de Mers, home-made soups and cakes, daily specials and cream-filed puddings that can't be missed!

Love it!
