This hotel is located just outside of Dover and in the perfect location for accessing morning ferries. We were very impressed with the room. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment which should be completed in 2 weeks but the work did not interfere with our stay at all as our building had been finished. Everything in the room was fresh, clean and new.
We went to the Beefeater restaurant next door for dinner and enjoyed our meal. We both had steak and my fillet was particularly good.

We stayed here for a couple of nights to celebrate our friends wedding. Traveling up on the Friday lunchtime, we arrived at about 4pm. Check-in was fine and the staff were friendly. The room was clean and tidy, but with the constant hum of the extractor fan from the bathroom which could be heard in the bedroom. This was a bit of a headache - quite literally. The shower and bathroom facilities were ok and the bed was adequate. We could hear other people in other rooms though and did feel a bit claustrophobic. The location was good for us as we were near the church and the reception, but it was a shame that the standard of the facilities and the rooms wasn't quite up to scratch. The breakfast wasn't of a very high standard and I didn't bother with the cooked breakfast the following morning. It was a bit more than I was willing to pay for something which was pretty cheap and cheerful in terms of quality. It served the purpose but not sure we would return again in a hurry.

Checked in very late and service was really efficient and friendly. Clean, safe and quiet. Despite being on the A20. Breakfast seemed chaotic in Beefeater. But overall a good experience. Nice bed, the room was comfortable and parking was good too.
