“Wonderful Induction to Dover”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

I booked this hotel off the strength of previous ratings and was not disappointed. Really nice hotel just out of town with perhaps the best service I have experienced yet in the UK at the adjacent restaurant. Hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate requests, including a last minute room juggle so I could stay an unplanned extra night in the same room - very useful when you're traveling solo with a toddler. Comfortable, tidy and very clean rooms. Would certainly recommend to others.

We were planning a visit to dover castle and had no idea where to stay having only previously stayed in travelodges and I can honestly say we will never go back to them premier Inns are the way forward.

Comfort was paramount and you got this plus spotlessly clean, very polite staff who couldn't do enough to help you.

Theresa in particular thank you (she gave us maps of the town and places to visit)

This premier inn is ideally located to dover, plenty of car parking spaces and to top it off excellent food next door in the plough, we thought at first it was a little expensive but you get what you pay for= bottomless soft drinks and chips definitely a thumbs up from our nieces!

Only 1 downside we stayed in a family room And one of the children's beds was very uncomfortable she could feel the springs through the mattress but the staff did what they could by bringing in extra bedding to soften her sleep!

Hope you enjoy the stay as much as we did

A nice hotel really handy for Dover port especially for early morning sailings. The only down point was the pub closing at 11pm on Friday night. Staff were friendly and helpful. A great night sleep just before embarking on a 1300 mile trip round Europe

Lovely premier inn but ruined by lack of heating. This is our third stay at a premier inn and once again it was a cold, cold stay. Room was absolutely freezing on arrival and once the heating did come on it was very restricted. The hotel manager was extremely friendly and went out of his way to please his guests. However the receptionist was quite the opposite, very miserable and she didn,t make us feel welcome at all. Not sure sure if I would stay at a premier inn anymore, too cold.

Only £19!!! Clean rooms with friendly staff - same old as far as premier inns are concerned but at least you know what you are getting - most of the time. ... This one did not disappoint. Well placed for the tunnel & on this occasion a lot cheaper than Folkestone.

Have stayed twice at this hotel, which is well-placed for the Tunnel and the ferry. Large rooms with all you need for an overnight stay and a reasonably priced menu to go with the budget priced rooms. We travel via Dover 2 or 3 times a year and this is the second time at this Premier Inn

Very polite welcome. Efficient service. Rooms very clean but basic as you would expect. Decor and upkeep very good. The only criticism would be the walls must be thin as we heard a lot of coughing and voices talking from next door. All in all a very pleasant experience which served its purpose for a one night stay. We would recommend and use again.
