“Very Welcoming”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2012

We enjoyed our stay and intend to return. We parked the car and walked in and out of Canterbury all weekend. The double room was quite cosy but had everything we needed. The breakfast was good but the star feature of the weekend was the wonderful welcome. Thank you Tam - and all the family.

We had a very warm welcome by Tam. The room was lovely and had his own atmosphere. The location is perfect, because you are in walking distance to Canterbury. We received also very good tips from Tam which was very helpful. The breakfast was also very good and presented on a large table together with the other guests (like a big family). Once again thank you very much to Tam and her team. Should we come back to Canterbury we will visit this lodge again.

This B&B is like a "home from home" and the hosts are two wonderful people. My daughter and I were in a difficult situation and they took us in at short notice and did all they could to help us out with whatever we needed. They made us feel so welcome that I will not hesitate to stay with them again when I am in Canterbury. Location is also perfect.

It was a very relaxing stay, the room was very clean and bright, the beds were bigger than normal ones. The owners are friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect, only 5 minutes walk from the city centre, good parking.
The breakfast was excellent, fresh food and big portions!

Small bed, cramped rooms, poor breakfast. No place to take a proper seat in the accommodation. The only plus is the position of the B&B. It's close to the city and all is in walking distance.

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary whilst visiting Canterbury, and I have to say that this B & B has such a family atmosphere and is very welcoming. The room was comfortable, and had a homely feel and the English breakfast was very nice, with generous portions. The location is ideal, being only 10-15 minutes walk from the city centre, and has good off road parking. Would definitely stay here again.
