This B & B was in a fabulous location, only 10 minutes walk from the city centre and also private parking to the rear of the property. We were able to leave our cars there all day without any parking charges (£1.10 per hour in city centre). Our room was very light, airy and cleaned to a very high standard.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Terry, a very friendly host. We stayed in room 1 at ground level, which was very welcome given our long journey and late arrival. Complimentary umbrellas were available at the door which enabled us to go and explore Canterbury on a rainy evening when we arrived.
Nice touches in the room included a small fridge to keep things cool, toiletries including hand wash and shower gel, a fleecy blanket for extra warmth if required and a hair dryer. The shower really was a nice touch of luxury and although the en-suite is a little on the small side, we still thought it very nice and recognised that the rooms have to fit the physical constraints of the property.
Breakfast was a simple system, just complete a form with time slot and your selection and drop it in the box in reception. Breakfast was of good quality with some nice touches, including home made jam and bread (toasted)
Overall we had a pleasant stay and would certainly consider returning if we were in the area again.
