The hotel is quaint with nice facilities. The staff are absolutely fantastic, every person we spoke to would go out of their way to help us. We had to leave early and they opened breakfast just for us.
The rooms are well equipped with everything you need for a short day. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would love to go back.

Lovely, friendly and accommodating staff who were happy for us to lock our bikes away somewhere safe and secure. Lovely clean comfortable room. Even after checkout the next morning we had full use of the pool, sauna and changing facilities. Fab location and we were able to leave our car and luggage there all day to return to after our day out. Will definitely visit again!

We stayed for one night as a sightseeing trip en route to Dover. Great little hotel, great location only 15 minutes walk from city centre and cathedral. We had rooms 2 and 4 in an annexe at the back of the hotel. There was no road noise, or any other noise in fact. Breakfast was fine although limited on cold choices and served in a very pleasant room overlooking the courtyard garden. The pool looked good but we didn’t have time to use it. Would definitely stay again.

My partner and I stayed for two days in August. It was a brief getaway but an extremely pleasant one for several reasons:
• the staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. We asked for an extra robe and they brought one up to our room extremely quickly (- the robe smelt deliciously clean btw)
• our room was spacious and clean, and well equipped with a fan, trouser press, and iron.
• there was plenty of breakfast options, all included in the price of the room.
• the hotel has its own swimming pool and sauna. We only got to have one dip but wish we could have had more.
• the hotel is only about at 15-20 min walk to town. Despite that, the on site parking meant that we didn't have to panic about paying or finding a spot.

A really lovely hotel that we would recommend.

We arrived on a Friday afternoon and were welcomed by a lovely lady who kindly explained the facilities and talked us through options for dinner that evening.
Breakfast was simple but very well cooked and had fresh fruit salad available.
Garden is lovely and they have a swimming pool, though not very big but very well looked after.
All in all a lovely stay and wonderful staff.
