we wanted somewhere to take our two dogs with us where we could relax.we stayed in the barn conversion and from start to finish we had a fantastic relaxing break. we were made very welcome as were our two dogs.we felt so at home there. The customer service was excellent and we only had to ask for anything and help was there. the ponies in the field next to our small garden were a pleasure to watch and very friendly. the breakfast was absolutely lovely and we felt spoilt, i think it was the best breakfast we had ever eaten and the service was so friendly. as i am disabled the wet room was so welcome and the shower was delightful. we were directed to a pub which allowed us to take the dogs and we had a lovely meal in lovely atmosphere. the bed was really comfortable. the only thing that would need changing is the sofa bed in the lounge which wasn't very comfortable. i would recommend iffin farm to everyone.

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids and our dog) spent 4 nights in this lovely b&b during the All Saints week, at the end of October. It was our first experience in UK and I can say that it could have not been better. Already the first contact by e-mail was positive: we received a prompt and kind answer to our questions and we immediately got the impression of a proactive attitude aiming at helping their guests. We have appreciated the rich breakafast ( a large choice including cereals, yoghurts, cooked breakfast or continental.with ingredients locally sourced) and we liked the dinner (we had dinner twice at the Iffin Farmahouse). We realised that in the area of Canterbury is not easy to find an accomodation and restaurants where dogs are accepted and for us it was the pefect solution.
The "family" room we booked has a large double bed and they placed 2 full length mattresses, made up as beds, on the floor for the children. Everything was very clean and tidy.
Everyone was very friendly. We got useful suggestions about the places to visit in the surroundings. The farm is located in open countryside, definitely you need the car to reach Canterbury but you can also have nice walks in the countryside starting from the farm. If you have a dog this is ideal!
We liked a lot our fist stay in England and at the Iffin Farmhouse it was the perfect start.
We like Canterbury so we will probably have another experience at the Iffin Farmhouse.

A homely and beautiful place to stay with a warm friendly welcome from the owners. The accommodation in a converted barn was perfect for us with airy, clean and good sized rooms. Our dog was also most welcomed!
Dinner and breakfast was delicious and plentiful in the dining room of the house. The location meant our long drive was shortened as it is only 30 minutes to channel tunnel. It is also close to Canterbury centre but with a feeling of being out in the country.
I would recommend more relaxing seating in the main room of the barn and perhaps more for young children to do, such as a playground or indoor games/puzzles. (Although we arrived late and left early in the dark so not sure about playground).

We stayed in the "Orchard Pickers Cottage". Someone wrote that it's like staying in a hut, but what a lovely hut! My wife is very particular when it comes to places to stay... but this little studio a few metres away from the main farmhouse ticked all the boxes! Cosy, very clean, self-contained, private, in the countryside but not far from the town AND with breakfast included... The fact that there is a corner kitchen to make dinner was really an extra, meaning that we didn't have to trek into Canterbury in the evening to try and find a nice place to eat. We will definitely be back!

Arrived after 3 hour car journey to a lovely welcome, the room was perfect, bathroom amazing, warm, comfortable, box of toys for our wee one to play with...
Having packed in a rush we soon discovered we had left jackets at home... however these were soon found and supplied for the duration of our stay by the Sarah (thank you again).
Ever so helpful in directing us everywhere, easy to fine, easy to park, everything was spotlessly clean and tidy.
Traveling with a 3 year old is always shattering, but Sarah made our stay enjoyable and effortless.
Did I mention the breakfast ??? It will make your eyes water - cant remember the last time I enjoyed breakfast so much, and the gardens were divine. the whole experience was 5 star. Thanks. Neil, Zoe and Charlie - London.

Lovely stay, warm hosts and a mazing brekkie included.
Very nice for short break with no hassles and lots of walks to various pubs :)
Very close to beautiful Canterbury as well as Coast. We visited whitstable and did a long costal walk. The hosts were very well informed on local attractions and ideas of things to get upto. Our stay was private and relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed it

Loved everything about it. Had just driven 5+ hours with whole family when we arrived. Greeted by ponies (D-day and Dolly) which kids adored, followed by the Spaniel named Crotchet. Then we met the staff and were immediately set even more at ease. Becuase of the late hour there weren't many dining options available, so Sarah offered to make dinner for us! Fantastic 5-star dining experience with fresh, local ingredients and the very warmest hospitality. That experience extended through all our subsequent meals as well.

Our accomodation was just as excellent as our meal --- plenty of room, very clean yet cozy, I even managed to fire up the wood stove.

I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation; it will be first on my list when we next return to wonderful England!
