“Small but perfectly formed with lots of character.”

2nd time I’ve stayed in this cottage. It’s an ideal stop to explore the local area. Lots of walks available from the cottage. 40 mins from the Euro tunnel.

“Quaint cottage”
Reviewed February 16, 2018 for a stay in February 2018

Stayed here for 15 nights in February 2018. Welcome on arrival was very friendly. Cottage is snug, lovely and quaint with some nice features inside. Area is fabulous for walking from here with many footpaths to enjoy, and best of all I could take my furry friend with me too. Thank you Tim and Lisa for a most enjoyable stay.

“Adorable Cottage”
Reviewed November 21, 2017 for a stay in November 2017

I stayed at Little Impetts With my now Fiancé ( we got engaged on our weekend there) The Cottage is really cute and we received a warm welcome from Lisa upon arrival. The area around the Cottage is brilliant for walkers with Public footpaths on every corner.

I would recommend Little Impetts to a couple who are looking for a break in the countryside or wanting to visit Canterbury without staying in the City.

“Lovely cottage for couples (with earplugs)”
Reviewed November 1, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

The location of the cottage is superb, lovely dog walks close by. We were very impressed by the extras provided - washing machine, board games, DVD's, Tea/Coffee sachets etc. I would say that the cottage is really only suitable for couples (or really close friends!) because you have to walk through the main bedroom to get to the bathroom. Our daughter found the downstairs twin room a little 'uncomfortable' as there was a door behind a curtain, leading to the main house - with no visible bolt on our side. We've only rated the cottage a three star because whilst the beds were very comfortable we didn't get a good nights sleep. We were kept awake by neighbouring dogs barking in the night (which frightened our dog) followed by the 'wildlife' scurrying and fighting until dawn in the roof space just above our heads - quite disconcerting. So lovely cottage but only for couples with earplugs :)

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you didn’t get a good nights sleep and that birds had got into the roof space as it’s a nice warm thatch I imagine. I’m also sorry that we are surrounded by dogs and when one starts they all seem to start as it’s in their nature unfortunately. The adjoining door I can assure is kept bolted at all times, we only bolt one side for one reason, the two keys for Little Impetts one being a normal Key, the other bring ancient ant the only one. Should anyone forget to leave the keys (which has happened but we managed to contact them before they got too far). It gives us the option to enter through the adjoining door.

Thank you for your valued comments and
we would like to welcome you back.

Kind Regards. Tim & Lisa.

Even better than our stay last year if possible. Definitely our top place to stay with our dogs. A real home from home, but with better facilities!

“Excellent”
Reviewed July 25, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Dear Lisa and Tim,
thank you very much for the pleasant stay in your beautiful historic small cottage!
We enjoyed our holidays very much, everything was perfect, we had everthing that we needed and felt very comfortable and welcome in your house.
For us it was perfect, it was a very quiet and idyllic little village, where we could take some walks in the evening. Since we had a car we could visit a lot of sights and beaches in whole kent and sussex and there was really a lot to explore, not only for us, but also for our two children.
Tim and Lisa offered some special outdoor-toy for the children, which they also enjoyed very much.
We will definitely recommend this accommodation,
thanks a lot!
