“Quiet place in the heart of Canterbury”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2014

People seem to be unaware of this most beautiful spot in the centre of Canterbury An ancient Franciscan chapel (services still held there) a wild garden, and no traffic noise! Great for a picnic or just to sit in peace and tranquillity

Beautiful gardens and chapel. This is the secret of those who know the city well. Let the tourists discover it and spread the word.

“Wonderful”

Tricky to find if you don't know how to get there but at least that means it doesn't get too packed! We went on a sunny day which always helps but this is a lovely garden with beautiful flowers. It is very peaceful and in a lovely setting with the river and the chapel. Try it, you will like it, there is a nice coffee shop near the bridge as well.
