I've been coming here on and off for the past 4 years or so and can honestly say I've never had a bad experience. The Bev is a pretty pub with lovely period features from times past, yet with an eclectic traditional pub grub/mexican fusion menu. I usually go for a steak, which is properly done for my liking (rare), which comes with chips which are crispy, fluffy and...well, yummy. There's a good but limited dessert menu and the wine can be a tad expensive, but on the whole, eating here is great value for money. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming and staff are generally very attentive. On the whole, a really nice place to visit.
