“Good Pub B & B. Well run and friendly”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2014

Good Pub B & B. Well run and friendly people. I found The Millers Arms to be a lovely pub within walking distance of the centre of Canterbury. The room called Reeves had recently been renovated and was clean with views of the Cathedral. Really nice furniture though maybe to much in one room.

A brewery managed pub with decent ale, unfortunately it ran out on the one night. A guest beer or 2 would do wonders here. Nice breakfast though I only tried the full English and the Smoked haddock. Good service all round, well recommended.

We found The Millers Arms to be a lovely pub within walking distance of the centre of Canterbury. Our room had recently been renovated and was very clean with views of the river and park. Other rooms had views of the Cathedral. All the staff were so helpful and the breakfast was excellent! We loved Canterbury and we will definitely be back to further explore this lovely city and will certainly stay at The Millers Arms again.

Had been bought this as a present and wanted to visit Canterbury. Very impressed with this inn, beautiful surroundings and character. Service excellent and choice for dinner and breakfast was good. Staff very welcoming. The bedrooms beautiful and clean and with everything you need. Would like to visit in the Summer.

Stayed for three nights mid week whilst attending the University of Kent. Small clean room, but comfortable double bed and room adequately stocked. Great delicious selection for breakfast and all staff friendly and welcoming. Despite it being a pub, it's off the main drag and not disturbed by late revellers - maybe I was too tired! Definitely recommend and will definitely come again.

The millers arms was little known to me, even though I'm a local Canterbury visitor.
Finding the Pub was a bit of a problem to start with. But this was due to my rubbish navigational skills.

Check in was quick and efficient.
The rooms were immaculate and newly refurbished. Our room also boasted great views of the river Stour and te Cathedral.
The manager was very helpful in where we may like to visit on our night in cantetbury, and on our return to the room it was peaceful and tranquil.
The breakfast was served in a lovely lounge and the service was good as was the food. A great choice of continental and cooked or both as we had!

The only small elements, which the hotel can not really help, is our rooms on the third floor so ask for help if you have heavy luggage or a lower floor if you find stairs hard.

Apart from that I loved my stay and would recommend it to any friends who wanted a hotel in Canterbury. Only wished we stayed in the cheerful looking bar that night! Looked very welcoming.

I stayed at The Millers Arms recently, and found it to be extremely comfortable and welcoming. I did not have dinner there on this occasion although have had wonderful meals there before. The room was perfectly adequate; clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and generous.

Room Tip: I booked through Booking.com and would have saved if I had booked direct.

We had the delightful surprise of an upgrade to the 4-poster King suite and it was fabulous - wonderful atmosphere, lots of room and so comfortable we didn't want to leave. We come to Canterbury almost every year and this is our favorite accommodation. The staff is super-friendly and the food very good - 5 star breakfast. I can't think of any negatives - we will definitely be returning to this cozy, comfortable pub.

Room Tip: We loved the 4 poster King suite. Our friends' room was smaller but had a lovely view of the Ca...
