Description: At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.No trip to the historic city of Canterbury in Kent can be complete without paying a visit to our restaurant. Located just off the busy High Street our Canterbury restaurant has a large garden and 5 private function rooms to accommodate any celebration. We’re lucky enough to be located in one of the oldest buildings in the city centre, spread across two floors of a Tudor town house known as Cogan's House. Dine al fresco with an outdoor dining area for sunny weather. If you’re celebrating big, see if our private dining area is right for you.And tweet what you eat with WiFi available here (if you’re in to that).

Booked on-line and was very happy when arrived. A lovely building that has very different areas inside. The front with it's glass windows and modern style tables leads to the back which my daughter describes as "straight out of Harry Potter" ! The food of course is the standard of all the Zizzi restaurants.... so it's cheap(ish) and cheeful but this building is really great ! There is also a lovely garden out the back but we didn't get ideal weather for that.

No point to lunch here on a Monday as we did but many of the items on the menu were off. The staff are always friendly and service good. You are not hurried to eat and leave. I have always found the food excellent. They will make a way when we went and my friend was in a wheelchair but let them know in advance if you have one.

Ate at zizzi's because I have found the standard to be excellent regardless of which restaurant you go to and this was the same. Nice tasty food, really helpful staff, lovely location and reasonably priced. Would definately go back.

Food was average, staff friendly enough but not the best place to eat in Canterbury. Very convenient for Marlowe theatre so fine for pre theatre meal
