stayed for 3 nights over the new year and have to say once again the premier inn bricketwood delivered. Lovely large spacious rooms, very clean and modern look, set away from main road so very quiet and a very nice location. Lovely little pond/stream to feed ducks and fish and a really nice bar restaraunt for drinks and food. Staff very welcoming and helpfull. Big thank you to all staff for a great stay.

We liked the setting and were more then satisfied with the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly and the on site restaurant was very good. We will definitely stay next time we visit St. Albans as it is so easy to get everywhere from it. Although the m25 is right at the back of the hotel there was no traffic noise to disturb you. Overall a very relaxing place to stay

We came here after a 24 hour flight back from Sydney. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The rooms were clean and tidy and very quiet.

The location is lovely. Set away from everything and the little pond with named geese and ducks was a nice touch.

Would definitely stay again.

We have been to the Bricket Wood Premier Inn on several occasions over the last couple of years and it really is a lovely place. A working water mill, ducks and lots of greenery make you forget you are right next door to the M25. The car park is in dire need of maintenance and with the recent wet weather, be careful of potholes plus it is always overcrowded at night. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast option as it's mediocre at best. As with all Premier Inns, you know what you're getting: a clean room, good facilities and a guaranteed nights sleep, unless you went on the night we did. At 1.30am we were awoken by a merry little troupe of people who decided to carry on their office party in the room opposite ours. The night receptionist did nothing to sort this out, however they did honour their policy and we got an immediate refund. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful and the customer service is excellent.

Room Tip: Can be noisy if staying in the rooms near the reception entrance that also overlook the car park.

Excellent hotel. Staff friendly Rooms and public area clean and fresh. A well run hotel would highly recommend In the country side next to motorway, but not disturbed by road noise at all.
We were a family of 11 from ages 2 to 65 staying over to attend a wedding. Only stayed 2 nights but we all including the children would have stayed longer We ate next door for breakfast and dinner on Saturday night. The food was excellent on both occasions and plenty of it. The staff were helpful and welcoming nothing too much trouble.

In all a wonderful experience. The staff at both the hotel and restaurant are to be congratulated for their care and professionalism A merry christmas to you all

Drove past it at first due to the small sign. It all seems a bit middle of nowhereish at first. Car park is not great. Not tarmac so bumpy and quickly filled up on the first night so would have had nowhere to park if we had got there any later. It also feels like you are leaving you car vulnerable. Luckily we got into the small car park by reception the second night which was fine. 24 hour reception good. Friendly staff and clean hotel. Room was as you would expect, clean but basic, did not have a safe in the room though. Bathroom floor WAS really spongy and smelled damp. This place is set by a small river and I suspect that the have had a problem with flooding. Beefeater was fine. Very nice steaks and the best bit was the kids meals. For once, somewhere has got the portion sizes right for kids! Not too big and not too fusy. Breakfast was all you could eat cooked buffet and cereal, including muffins and croissants. If you prepay for breakfast you just have to tell them your room number. Waiter was quite good. Guy showing us to our table could have tried smiling a bit more but was fine. Not sure how they guarantee a good nights sleep. Bed was really comfy. Room was well soundproofed to the M25 just a few yards away, you could not hear it at all. Temperature easily adjustable. The only thing wrong was the usual inconsiderate morons coming in at stupid o clock in the morning and insisting on talking and laughing in the corridor and opening and closing their doors 3 times to walk through it once. All in all, you know what you are getting and they are good value. You can restock tea and coffee from a box at reception and the shower gel dispenser in the bathroom was a good touch. Great for the Harry Potter tour. The restaurant is in an old water mill and was interesing.
