This museum is right near the park which I previously wrote about, so must see both. A decent car park too.
The museum is well organised, easy access for buggies or wheelchairs, and children will find it interesting.
Lots of exhibits and a few short films which are well put together. There are several rooms dedicated to Roman way of life. Well maintained corpses still in coffins, really amazingly complete, and even a break down of the lifestyle and standing in the community of one of them. A specialist has rebuilt the face so you can see we the would have looked like!
