“something a bit different”

This is situated in the centre of Ledbury down church Lane which is full of interesting places and the church at the top.Lots of fascinating history facts about Butcher Row, the museum takes its name from a row of shops from the seventeenth century.
There is no charge to get in and the place isn't that big so doesn't hold too many people. Its on two floors and has a huge selection of artefacts from the town from bygone times.
These include costumes, instruments, objects from wars etc....
Well worth a visit.

“good look round”

The volunteer lady talked to us and gave us information about the tall chimney in the middle of the room, plus the books available on the tables, all in all a delightful visit.

“Small and interesting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2013

A lovely old building with a history of its own. The lady on duty was very helpful and was pleased to receive a photograph of HMS Ledbury for the museum from our friend. The stairs were difficult for older people or the disabled, worth a visit and free!
