“Little gem of a pub!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 4, 2013

We visited on a Thursday lunch time but will definitely call again! The pub offers an excellent choice of beers plus lovely fresh home made food. Good lunchtime menu choice and reasonably priced. The pub itself is very quirky in shape and seeped in history. It also appears to be very popular with locals which all adds to the character of the place. If visiting Ledbury it is well worth a visit to this pub.

the prince of wales...is what all of us look for in a british pub...great food, music, and most of all ale...all accompanied with great staff.

Visited many times over a long stay in uk, and found this pub to be one of the best. and check their web site for sunday afternoon blues / music...a real treat...your own private concert....will return when ever i am within a hundred miles...

“Our favourite Prince!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013

This was our second visit but definitely won't be our last. The food is excellent and great value with the minted peas are a must. There is a great choice of beers, the staff are very friendly and looked after us very well. This is as great pub with a lovely atmosphere in a very historic, beautiful building. If your visiting Ledbury this is a great place to come for a drink or something to eat!

“Historic pub; food perfectly OK”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2013

There really should be another option on Trip Advisor's star ratings, for 'Good'. I would say this pub is better than 'average', but 'very good' is slightly over-stretching the mark.

My wife and I ate here early evening mid-week, though even then it was reasonably busy. A very old historic and interesting place yet with better than the 'spit and sawdust' decor that some of these kind of pubs have.

A good choice of beers but very limited choice of lagers. And surprisingly no full bottles of wine to go with our meal, only the little 1/4 bottles! So we made do with 4 of them, which added up to about £13; not bad these days.

The food took a while (half an hour) but was perfectly OK. Not gourmet but better than a basic pub meal. A reasonable choice of desserts, including some very tasty ice creams. Service was friendly, as were the locals. Ambience fine, with some laid-back music.

“Excellent pub with good food and beers and cider”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2013

The Prince of Wales in Ledbury is located in Church Lane. Camara awards and inclusion in the Good Pub Guide mean that you will get a good pint of beer and local cider. We had the sandwiches and you get a round and a half plus a side salad . The granary bread was not your floppy supermarket bread and the filling was very generous. Friendly staff. Highly recommend this pub which was very busy on a Thursday lunchtime.
