Great fun! Jon and Sara were marvellous hosts/tutors. To our amazement, we all managed to throw a medium sized pot - and then decorated it. As we’re from Devon - we opted to have our ‘artesian pits’ posted. At only £5 - how could we say “no”?
Thanks for a brilliant visit. Highly recommended!

Thanks Ann :) We loved working with you and your family and you did indeed make an amazing trio of pots! and as for the decoration!!! Great stuff, although we all felt you were a little harsh on the 'christening' of your wonderful effort ;) All three 'pits' ;) will look amazing once they've been through the fire! x

My husband bought me a pottery taster day at Eastnor Pottery for my 60th birthday. Throwing a pot was something I'd always wanted to try but never got round to it. Jon, Sarah and their lovely staff could not have made my experience any better! Jon has infinite patience and explained everything clearly. He was ready to jump in and help if needed and encouraged everyone to just go for it. I fully expected to be totally rubbish at it, but was pleasantly surprised by what I produced. The pottery is set in the most beautiful surroundings and they provided a delicious lunch along with free flowing tea & coffee. As an added bonus they will send your best creations to you once they have been fired and glazed! There are also wonderful examples of the work of both Jon and Sarah which are quite stunning! I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you Jon & staff for making me a very happy lady! Kindest regards Beth Allen.

It was a pleasure Beth and we are very pleased to have played a part in your special birthday celebrations! :) You happened to be part of a lovely and very skilled group - excellent results all round. Please don't worry about leaving your cardie behind - your pots will be wrapped in the classiest bubble wrap going! Here's to the next 60 years of pot making!

It was such a lovely afternoon and you were all such great fun :) Thank you for flying Eastnor Pottery and your creations look amazing. We'll be in touch as soon as they emerge from the firing resplendent in their shining coats of glaze. Well done indeed!

Do not have think about visiting Eastnor Castle without booking in to do an introduction to pottery course! This was by far the most enjoyable and wonderful morning we have spent together this summer. We were met by Sarah and John, greeted with a cup of tea and spent the morning learning how to throw a pot! We met a lovely couple from Grimsby who worked with us and altogether it was a wonderful, wonderful experience.

I would strongly recommend a visit to try out this great experience in a warm and friendly place. Utterly brilliant!

Aww, thanks Paul - we think you guys were utterly brilliant too! Although I didn't get to work with your group the day you visited, the laughter and good vibes was very infectious and permeated all four corners of the studio. Sounded like all four of you had such a fun time and Sarah thoroughly enjoyed her time with you all. Thanks once again for coming and we wish you all the best with your imminent move to the continent.
