Wonderful church to visit when looking around Ledbury. The stain glass windows are great. They have obviously replace one window of glass and it is very unusual being red stained glass - welll worth a look.

Ledbury is one of y favourite local places - plenty of specialist shops, charity shops and eateries. I never fail to go to the church for one simple reason: the Heaton memorial window. It moves and inspires me every time, celebrating as it does God's creation in every aspect, from stars and great landscapes to cricket and journalism. I always come away with a sense of Mr and Mrs Heaton who loved the world in a way that I want to imitate.

I am not usually a great one for seeking out chuches to visit but went into this one with a friend who lives here, whilst our wives were checking out a couple of shops.
I found it a beautiful place to visit. A very old church which had been neglected but which was restored in the 19th century. There are very old porthole windows (which would have been external before the roof was raised) and some amazing stained glass windows - some by the William Morris Workshop from a Burne-Jones design and a fantastic modern window installed in 1991.

Beautiful church with lots of interesting ( and very old) ledgers or grave floor stones inside the church. I also really liked the information on display about the impact of World War One on the community.
