“Tim and Abi's home from home”
Reviewed June 27, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Stayed at the cider press with friends who stayed in Dee's cottage below as we were attending a wedding at Brinsop Court. What we didn't expect was the wonderful warm welcome from Tim and Abi who really went out of their way to welcome us to their beautiful property with nothing too much trouble. The welcome pack starts you off but is enhanced by Abi's home made bread and cake which demonstrates they go that extra mile .
Both properties have been well described but they certainly exceeded our expectations and with stunning views have the formula for success
This property is highly recommended being one of the best holiday cottages we have ever stayed in .

Lyndon it was a real pleasure to have you and Christine to stay with us and thank you for the great feedback. As you know we love to welcome guests to the White House to share our special part of Herefordshire and we are always delighted when our guests love it as much as we do. Thank you and we hope to see you both again. Tim

“Perfect”
Reviewed September 18, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

This is an idyllic property, with all the charm of the real Herefordshire architecture, step back in time to beautiful beamed cottages. The accommodation was spotless with every amenity you could require, and a welcome gift awaits you with essentials, milk, cheese, butter and a homemade cake and bread, what more could you want. The grounds are spectacular with a lake inhabited by ducks, two horses in the paddock, and you will see the owners dogs and cats bounding around. If you want peace and tranquility with beautiful scenery, look no further, and the rental charges are very re also able too. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and very helpful, all in all a perfect holiday destination.

“fab wonderful friendly must-stay!”
Reviewed April 10, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Thank you so much Tim and Abby for a wonderful week staying at the Cider Press. Beautiful cottage (deceptively spacious - plenty of room for us and our young child). Really friendly hosts kept surprising us with thoughtful gifts - let us borrow their kite and directed the Easter Bunny to leave an Easter egg on the doorstep on Easter Sunday morning. Surrounding area is fabulous with lots to do. Cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped (even included spice jars with spices in, the most comfortable beds ever) and an amazing welcome basket full of bread, butter, eggs, marmalade, cheese and a homemade cake! There is a sister cottage downstairs too so could rent with extended family or friends. We will be back. Can't recommend this one highly enough. If you don't come and stay you miss out!

Liked best: everything
Liked least: nothing - but be aware this cottage is accessed by outside steps. Those who have mobility difficulties will be most at home in the downstairs cottage which is all ground floor and wonderful too.

“Excellent, well managed and beautiful place to stay!”
Reviewed September 23, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

From the moment we arrived we could see the grounds and property are very well maintained. The cottage is set in lovely grounds overlooking the medieval pond, with country walks around it. It was handy to have a bus stop at the end of the lane to catch a bus into Hereford avoiding the traffic and parking. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and a lovely touch to be given a homemade food welcome pack! Excellent place to stay, we will be back!

“Wonderful hosts in a wonderful property”

Abby & Tim are the perfect hosts! The Cider Press was ideal for us and perfectly presented. Great location with easy access to Herefordshire and Wales. The little touches that made our visit so pleasant the welcome we received on arrival, the unobtrusive but practical offers of advice and support and the sheer comfort and spaciousness of the accommodation. Tim's and Abby's enthusiasm for the historical significance of the building and the special places to see within easy reach was helpful and encouraging. We are delighted to recommend The Cider Press (and have already done so!). Thank you for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable.
