“An evening to remember”
Reviewed June 17, 2012

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal at Muzeys. It was great to try her carefully hand-prepared Turkish cuisine. It really was an evening to remember and will definitely be back to sample some more of her food.

“Something warm, friendly and different”
Reviewed June 14, 2012

I am a regular visitor to Muzey's - having lunch there at least once a week and the occasional supper there with my family. Visitors are always well hosted and the selection of Turkish inspired food is always fresh and interesting. Muzzey takes pride in her cooking, and is a talented chef; the food is healthy, tasty and she is always happy to chat through her recipes and food ideas. Those choosing to dine there in the evening have the aded benefit of a classical guitarist playing in the background - always a nice touch. There is no other cafe like this in Hereford. It has already developed an eclectic mix of regulars and the atmosphere is always pleasant.

“Quirky, delightful, friendly and something pleasantly different”
Reviewed June 8, 2012

We have been here many times, mainly during the day for coffee and home made Turkish snacks. Muzey the owner is so friendly and welcoming and is always trying to ensure we are well looked after. Hereford has many restaurants and coffee bars but none like this. You can be sure your food is home made, tasty, usually from a Turkish recipe, and unique to our beautiful City. The evening ambience is romantic and peaceful and is very cosy. I guess there are only 20+ covers so you will never be left out. We had a small complaint that the seats were a little uncomfortable so she listened and went out and bought some cushions for the seats. Well done Muzey.

“A lovely eating experience”
Reviewed June 2, 2012

If you are looking for a friendly, yet different experience, you could not do better. Muzey's offers lunches and evening meals in cosy suroundings. My wife and I eat there regularly and always enjoy ourselves. Muzey specialises in a Turkish cuisine from her own homeland which means that you get something a little different from much else that is on offer. Her cooking is excellent and everything is home-made.
It is the little extras that often make an eating experience and during lunchtime, you often find that you are given a small piece of lovely sweet baklava with your coffee. A nice touch!
This is a place where you are spoken to - Muzey wants you to feel welcome and special and she will take time to chat, ask where you are from and so on.
The evening meals are carefully considered. There is one starter, one dessert and a choice of three main dishes - because the emphasis is on the cooking - with a well chosen wine-list.
Often your meal is accompanied by Simon playing excellent classical guitar, and the atmosphere is gentle, homely and comfortable.
On a warm summer evening, you can even sit on the terrace over-looking the River Wye.
Don't miss out on this little gem!
