“Not impressed”

Used for family lunch today, food took 1 hour. no communication or apology. I could hang on but one child fell asleep the other was hungry and upset.

“Stick to the Pizzas!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2014

Visited Gourmet Pizzas on an evening out with my wife and friends. My friends ordered Pizza's, which were very nice, but my wife and I ordered the pasta. Unfortunately we were very dissapointed with the pasta dishes. I had the spicy sausage linguine which apart from the linguine contained only two lumps of chorizo, a few very thin slices of mushroom and one very small slice of chilli. My wife had the spicy sausage pasta bake (from the specials board) which was tasteless, had two small slices of chilli and lacked sauce.

“Could have been better.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2014

After arriving for lunch. Waited for 45 minutes after ordering food to eventually find pizzas burnt and both came out at different times. Also whilst waiting for food noticed in the kitchen that the staff were laughing around and not making food.

“Second time here in 2 weeks, terrible service.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2014 via mobile

Came here twice on business. Only one waiter for the entire restaurant, leading to serious delays.

Arrived 7.40pm, ordered promptly.
Drinks arrived at 8.20pm
Starters arrived at 9.00pm
Main course still not arrived at 9.20pm.

The worst thing about this is that it happened 2 weeks ago when we came here on business. Excuse used then was that someone had called in sick, when obviously the restaurant only employs 1 waiter.

No warning of 1 waiter when booking or when we arrived. When we asked if the food was going to be much longer, we were told that we were next etc and still didn't get food for a while.

Such a shame as the food wasn't actually that bad. If only management would put an extra waiter in...
