The coffee here was amazing... just delicious!
However, the remainder of the eating experience wasn't so great. The atmosphere was a little tinny and the space, whilst full of people, felt to like a void.
We had to wait for a long time - 20 minutes or so - for 5 pulled pork brioche buns. Given the wait and the price, we were eagerly anticipating a plate full of food so when a smallish bun arrived on a wooden rectangle with some rocket, disappointment inevitably set in.
Whilst the pork tasted fantastic and the red cabbage and apple chutney were tasty, the actual serving size was paltry and extremely disappointing. At over £7 each, there was barely enough pork to cover the base of the bun leaving everyone feeling that whilst the quality of the food was commendable, the quantity, when judged against the price, was dismal.
The day was saved a little by the outstanding chocolate brownies which were surprisingly reasonably priced.
Overall, though, the £60 bill for 5 of us did not reflect good value for money in terms of the quantity of food served up to us and I don't think we will be returning.
