Saw Russell Hopward here at £16.00 a ticket. Over 2 hours of great entertainment in a great, intimate theatre. From start to finish all staff appear motivated and efficient. A credit to Winchester.

Winchester is very fortunate to have such a well run theatre that attracts some many excellent performers and productions. It's also a very attractive and delightfully intimate space. Maybe a little more training of the bar staff might be a good idea though, the queues do get very long in the intervals.

The theatre has been renovated to the highest standard. You can start your evening with a drink and a snack in the downstairs bar / coffee shop or the circle bar. This isn’t a big venue so if you want to go to something book early but being small all seats are great. We have seen over the past year or two acts as diverse as The Blues Band, Shakespeare’s Mid Summers, Lenny Henry, Andy Parsons and more. My daughter did a summer holidays workshop producing a musical (100 quid for a five day workshop). Most tickets are about 20 give or take a couple of pounds. Drinks and food about pub prices.

This Theatre stages a very diverse range of Plays and Concerts. We saw "Clockwork Orange" -which had previously been on at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
It was vert good.
The seats are comfortable and the view of the Stage is good.
