This cinema could only work in a city like Winchester! It is quirky, friendly and sophisticated. A great place to watch a film. The cinemas are small and quite intimate and they still have someone selling ice cream in the isles after the adverts are the start. You are able to buy beer, wine and hot drinks at the reception as well as cakes and sweets. It is well maintained and a great evening out. Well worth a visit.

A relaxed and wonderful place to watch a film. Comfy seats, good snacks and decent drinks, wine, beer etc
Friendly staff. Not cheap but you get what you pay for and better than going with the masses.

Came across the cinema in a converted church by accident and decided to pop in. Lovely atmosphere with very welcoming staff. There are two screens - screen one is a good manageable size with great view of the screen and very comfy seats. Loved being able to take a glass of wine into the cinema - wonderfully civilised!

Enjoyed this little cinema - two screens in a converted military chapel. Five minutes walk from the military museums and Great Hall, so you can round off a day of tourism with a trip to this special cinema. Seats were comfortable, screen size and picture quality perfect, no heads in the way, and a (very small) bar for snacks, teas, coffees, beers, wine beforehand (you can take drinks from the bar into the film, but there's nowhere to put them; yet only seating for about 8 people in the bar area). Very little parking, but there is a large pay-and-display only 10 minutes walk away on Sussex Street. Winchester tourist information webpage has great maps to download and print - e.g. one of the city centre and one of car park locations.
