We spent the day in Winchester and found this place for lunch, just near to the Cathedral. The queues were out the door so we took this to be a good sign of the quality of food inside!
We were not disappointed, there are lots and lots of different pasties to choose from, both veggie and meaty, as well as sweet things too.
We ordered a sausage roll and a pasty, along with a double choc chip muffin and a chocolate pastry twist.
The food was brilliant, freshly cooked and really, really tasty. The meat in the sausage roll was really nice, and it was obviously their own special recipe, as it was full of herbs. The meat was lovely and soft too (not at all like what you find in supermarkets!). The chocolate chip muffin was the chocolatey-est muffin I have ever tasted. It had a slightly crispy top, and a really moist inner. YUM!
Also visited the branch in St Ives, which was just as good!
Will go back! :)
