Excellent Hotel for Value, Cleanliness, Convenience and Ease of Reservation.

I agree with most of the other reviews. This is a modern, clean and comfortable hotel, just 10 mins walk from both the city centre and St Mary's stadium.

It was a great place to stay after watching the Southampton v Swansea football match and Southampton itself is a very interesting city.

Nice bar and an excellent buffet breakfast.

Stayed over a Saturday night following the football, good standard premier inn, clean comfortable rooms, excellent value (£44/room) if you book early enough. Very helpful staff, in particular the gentleman who oversees the car park who goes out of his way to help. 10 minutes walk to the football, same to city centre and all the bars and restaurants, 5 minutes taxi (about £5) to the popular Oxford street area with plenty of popular eating and drinking places. Good choice if your visiting the area.

The Premier Inn in the City Centre of Southampton is both handy if you are either visiting or going to watch football. It's only a short 10 minute walk from the train station and only a couple of minutes walk to the city centre. Rooms are comfortable with everything you expect from Premier Inn. We stayed a Sunday night and I'd advise you to book the restaurant if you want to eat there as it seems very popular. All in all met my requirements and would recommend.

Room Tip: We could hear the train from early morning but not sure if there is any benefit on what floor you ar...

Stayed in family room for 2 nights. Excellent service every single member of staff so friendly and helpful. Very clean comfortable room. £22 meal deal excellent value with good quality food especially the all you can eat breakfast.
Car parking is a problem but no different than many other city centre hotels. Good central position minutes from shops and football ground.
Will definitely be staying again .

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Probably the best premier inn I have stayed in. The rooms are large, very clean and well maintained. They have a hair dryer which is powerful enough for long thick hair and tea and coffee facilities. There is a small bar and restaurant within the hotel which I only used for breakfast but great choice, good food and good value. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and also very helpful. Got parked here both nights for £4 a night. Staff try and squeeze you in even if no official spaces left. Some people have mentioned noises from the trains. You can hear them but not loud enough to stop me sleeping and I'm a light sleeper. Only complaint would be the noisy bathroom fan, but not really a complaint. Rooms are air conditioned too with easy to use digital control panel! All this for £40 a night not bad and sometimes their rooms are only £29, you could sleep three in my room! Def recommended
