Loved the Titanic Exhibit! Lots to see and digest the facts.. not crowded.. lots of books to choose from in the Gift Shop. Was very close to the Engineers Memorial as well as the Musicians Memorial but wasn't said at all at the Museum unless I missed seeing it? Definitely recommend it if you are a Titanic buff...

A brilliant and informative exhibition of Titanic proportions. Even my 9 and 10 year olds were interested and have retained the facts they learnt. A must to see and very close to West Quay shopping centre.

I'm glad that Southampton has finally got a museum that shows its historic past.
We walked around and spent loads of time looking around and reading all the stories - to be honest - most of it is reading since not much of the Titanic has survived!
I've been to the Titanic counterpart museum in Halifax, Novia Scotia, and that doesnt have much more on display.
Information is only provided in English which is a shame - I had 3 non English speakers with me who did not enjoy the museum as much as!

Spent a lovely afternoon at the museum recently. The museum has three main exhibits: a Titanic one, another about local archaeology/history, and a special exhibit (currently another Titanic exhibit). The museum has interactive exhibits suitable for all ages. It is very well curated. I plan to return again!

This Museum is called 'seacity' it should just be called the Titanic Museum as it seems that nothing else Sea related has ever happened in Southampton. There were a couple of small exhibits of Saxon artifacts and on the migration of people into England via Southampton.Nothing really on Cunard or P&O , nothing at all about the Import/Export Growth of the port, Container ships or The small Sailing vessels/clubs,Sea cadets or scouts. overall oppinion is that we left feeling like they have missed an opportunity and the museum lacks way too much to make it worth the entrance fee that was charged. what was there is good but not enough.
left disappointed.
