A great position for sparring on a cruise and also the city centre on your doorstep. Parking is in the multi storey car park across from hotel for £5 which worked well. The hotel was very busy with people checking in when we arrived probably going on cruises the next day as three ships were departing. Self service check in machines were great and saved time queuing. Rooms excellent and very clean .We had breakfast the next morning which was very good with lots of choice and again staff were exceptional. 3 minutes drive to city cruise terminal. Cruising from Southampton next year and will definitely stay there.

Would definitely stay again, only negative was the chicken in the Caesar salad was mega tough but otherwise a fab place to stay for work, right opposite large shopping centre open til 8pm, felt safe as a lone female guest & staff very helpful.

We have had a week here using this hotel as a base to visit some other areas by train and bus . The location made it a real easy experience to get around the area and the staff were more than accommodating in every instance. A new hotel with everything you need on site...even a converter for North American apps that had been left at home! Our first experience with a chain in England...couldn't have been better.

Premier Inn- West Quay-Southampton. We stayed here 2 nights. We were greeted with friendly smiles and welcomes. The hotel is located very nice the cruise terminals, cost 6 pounds by taxi from the cruise terminal. The hotel has a very good restaurant and small bar. Wi-Fi 30 minutes free per day... Brian (in maintenance) helped us fix a broken wheel on our suitcase. The rooms were super clean. Our room was a twin...had a double bed and a single. The bathrooms are very clean and modern.
The only negative: the room had only one sitting chair.
Yes we would stay here again.

Room Tip: Our room was street side, no noise! The West Quay shopping complex is 300 yards away. Money exchange and a 100 shops available there. Excellent location for hotel and cruise travelers.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this hotel was; I'd read the reviews but was somewhat sceptical to find a Premier Inn being ranked no 1.
We were greeted and checked in by a very helpful & charming young man, given useful information about the hotel facilities & the locality. Room was clean & modern, with tea/coffee making facilities & basic toiletries. Location is excellent, close to the ferry terminal, shopping centre & the old town. Ate in the hotel on our first evening, lovely service and good wholesome food at reasonable prices. I couldn't fault anything, if only all Premier Inns were this good - this is the benchmark - well done!
