Great value. Friendly staff. Clean fresh rooms. Had breakfast and dinner delicious and great value including as much as you can eat breakfast. The hotel doesnt have it's own car park but the multi storey is next door which costs £5 or 24 hrs.

Stayed here last year the night before we joined our cruise ship on the Saturday. From our arrival at around 20:30 to the time we left it was all excellent. Me, Hubby & granddaughter had a lovely comfortable room with single bed made up for little person. Tea & coffee making facilities and restaurant if you wanted an evening meal. Breakfast was a brilliant start to the day; from continental to full English all included in our deal. Service welcoming and helpful. An all round gem. This time we booked the full monty; evening meal, nights stay & breakfast confident in the knowledge all will spell comfort & quality.

A group of around 24 of us stayed at the Premier Inn, West Quay on the night of my wedding.

The staff were fantastic around the clock.

The buffet breakfast was by far the best quality I've had at any premier inn.

Rooms were the quietest I've ever stayed in, and I've done about 10 Premier Inns around Hampshire and South Coast in the last 12 months.

Well done to all the staff there, they really delivered what they advertise.

The only bad thing I can say is that they didn't accept my laser card when we arrived @ 2am, had to drive to local ATM and get cash, without getting lost !! Other than that the place was 5 star, great room, nice and big, massive super comfie beds, with two adults and two kids we all had a great nites sleep. Next morning, at our leisure we went for the all u can eat buffet breakfast, they couldn't have done any more for us, they showed us where everything was and then said if we didn't see what we were looking they would get the chef to make it fresh for us, we didn't get that when we stayed in the travel lodge in Windsor the year before ! And last but not least, the shower, like the rest of the stay, it's was top class. Going to Holland again this year driving across the UK and we will deffo be staying in a Premier Inn. Didn't see Lenny there tho !!! Oh ya, we woke up with a great view of St. Mary's stadium, something different I thought.

Room Tip: Just book this hotel, top class and great value for money.

Lived up to positive reviews online. Was made welcome as a family from start to finish. Bright, cheerful, helpful, friendly staff - hard-working and attentive. Clean rooms, quiet. No faults to report at all. Good breakfast at great value, with kids eating free too. Would definitely stay again.

This was a fantastic stay for us, exceptional service and a superb clean stay! Highly recommended Premier inn gets it right at all levels! This hotel is well placed for exploring the Southampton - Bournemouth area and just a short trip down the road to Peppa Pig World which our 5 year old loved. The staff couldn't do enough to help us and the location meant there was plenty of things to keep us entertained!!! I would recommend booking meals early if you intend to eat as the restaurant was very busy but the service was swift and staff friendly.

On booking tickets to see a show at the Mayflower theatre I decided to book a hotel for the evening so we wouldn't have to rush home. After looking at TripAdvisor reviews I chose the Premier Inn at West Quay (it was rated no 1). I thought the rating would mainly be because of the low price when you book in advance and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. It was easy to find - I had an email and text the day before with final arrangements, the staff were incredibly friendly and seemed genuinely happy in their jobs and the room was more than adequate - a good size, very clean and well decorated. The building site view from the window was not so pleasant but there was no noise at all when we were there. Had a thoroughly good night's sleep and would now consider staying in Southampton much more often when we usually visit for only the day.
