We wanted to try this restaurant based on the reviews and were expecting to be amazed. However, the service was slow due to the staff being totally preoccupied with cleaning. One person disappeared outside to clean the windows and another in the back clanking pots or moving boxes. We decided to try the buffet and the starter was nice, though the smoked chicken was a little sweet. The crispy duck was OK, but lacking in many crispy bits and the hoisin was a little bland. The main was chicken with black bean and the flavour was good. The chicken was disappointing as it was chewy.
The wine was pricy at over £5 a glass.
Overall a disappointing visit, though may try again as the buffet may not be the best representation of their food.
I'm all for a clean restaurant, but not to the detriment of the service.
