This little Restaurant was a favourite haunt of ours, before it closed, a few years ago. For various reasons we have not visited, since it re- opened until last night.
What a welcome return. Nothing appears to have changed. The menu, decor and friendly service are still the same. We chose two specials from the Blackboard to start - a Panzinella (spelling?) and Gnocchi with Pesto. Both delicious, piping hot and full of flavour. My main course, again from the blackboard, Spaghetti with Prawns, Garlic and Chilli was wonderful. The portion was so generous, I could not finish it, but the waitress very kindly offered to give me a 'doggy bag' - a nice touch. My daughter had a Calzone, and said it was one of the best she had ever had. We had a litre of the house red to drink, and sadly, were too full to tackle dessert.
It was fairly quiet, as it was a Mon night, but I believe it would be wise to book, at the weekend.
I can see that this lovely little Restaurant will be a favourite haunt once more!

Don't be put off be its backstreet location, this cosy little restaurant is a real find. The food is superb and excellent value, the staff are friendly and fast and the house wine was very drinkable. We went for pre-theatre dinner and it was packed and buzzing - you may need to book to be sure of a table.

This Restaurant is a bit small, however the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the food is the best Italian i have had in Southampton. Their house Wine! It was so nice and rich in flavour, complimented my Cannelloni very well. The food has a good amount of seasoning, salt and pepper was not a must for my dish. They also serve creme brulee (my favourite Dessert).

Wanted to have dinner before seeing war horse at the mayflower theatre. Found this place recommended and it certainly didn't disappoint. Cosy reastaurant tucked out of the way with lovely homemade food and friendly service. Portions are generous and very reasonably priced. Would certainly return next time we are in the area.
