This little Restaurant was a favourite haunt of ours, before it closed, a few years ago. For various reasons we have not visited, since it re- opened until last night.
What a welcome return. Nothing appears to have changed. The menu, decor and friendly service are still the same. We chose two specials from the Blackboard to start - a Panzinella (spelling?) and Gnocchi with Pesto. Both delicious, piping hot and full of flavour. My main course, again from the blackboard, Spaghetti with Prawns, Garlic and Chilli was wonderful. The portion was so generous, I could not finish it, but the waitress very kindly offered to give me a 'doggy bag' - a nice touch. My daughter had a Calzone, and said it was one of the best she had ever had. We had a litre of the house red to drink, and sadly, were too full to tackle dessert.
It was fairly quiet, as it was a Mon night, but I believe it would be wise to book, at the weekend.
I can see that this lovely little Restaurant will be a favourite haunt once more!
