Have eaten here a couple of times and the the food is great. The last time we were here we were lucky enough to catch a jazz band. Brilliant atmosphere.

Went back to Rosie's after a self-imposed 3 year absence. It was Sunday at 1.30 and there was jazz playing which was brilliant. The wine was good. I had the roast dinner which was mediocre to be honest, but maybe I'm a spoilt brat as my wife does the best. Good afternoon though.

Thank Richard W

I have been using Rosies for many years, but it did seem to fade, but visited last night for a drinks and was tempted to stay for dinner. We had the fish platter which was stunning - really high quality - bottle of veuve to accompany - not too pricey either. I then had the minute steak which was excellent - nice salad and some of the best french fries I have had for a long time. My wife had the stilton parcel - which she enjoyed but said it could have done with more stilton. We had a bottle of bourgeon which was very good. We followed this up the expresso and ice-cream to share. Not cheap, but pretty good value for money and the chef seems to have really upped the standard. The service was a little patchy - just a little irritating.

What a little gem Southsea has on it's hands here,
We visited on a Sunday afternoon, and we treated to the delights of the FB Pocket Orchestra, They were superb and helped make the afternoon what it was, the food was excellent, between us we tried a roast dinner, sea bass and dressed crab and the only slight disappointment was the veg, but hey who cares about that when the mains were so good.
Shame that there weren't many people in but it was the first hot Sunday of the year so they were all probably "enjoying" burger and chips in the sun.
Cannot recommend this place highly enough and if you happen to go when the FB band are on you've struck gold.
Stunning.
