With a meeting the following day in Portsmouth I plumped on staying at Premier Inn Southsea due to it's location on the prom.
Got there early, no problem with keeping my bike in my room, friendly staff, complimentary Men's Health magazine, etc
Room (46) was ok, but no view from the tiny window of the sea or promenade, just a roof with bits of old wood on it.....
After a ride and a run I ate out and then had a great nights sleep :)
Breakfast was uneventful (which is a good thing as it was pretty perfect) apart from the Manager being OCDish about the way the tables were laid and set out (incidentally another good thing).
Following my 08.30 I went for another ride in the beautiful sun, and then checked out.
Great hotel, but get there early for the secure parking :)More
