A lovely Family History day trip to HMS Warrior-slightly expensive however, well worth the investment for your family in terms of historical knowledge and sightseeing.

Staff pleasant, happy to help and obliging.

Highly recommended to all.

Of course, if you are in the Dockyards, you have to see the HMS Warrior. It is amazing on the ship and we enjoyed going through it and reading and looking in every corner of it. Esp if you have a guide and hear all the stories, its superb.

I missed seeing this lovely ship when I last visited the Dockyard due to time constraints. I was so surprised at what I found after boarding this ship. Firstly compared to the HMS victory it is huge! Tip: There are 3 main sailing ship exhibits, The Mary Rose, HMS Victory and the parly steam driven HMS Warrior.
Visit them starting with the Mary Rose (seperate ticket admission) then The HMS Victory and lastly the HMS Warrior. That way you can appreciate how nautical technology changed from the 16th century right up to the 19th Century. The Warrior has so much more room to move about on board. Enjoy refreshments sitting alongside the huge cannons which is a pretty unique experience. Lots to see on a ship that has been brilliantly renovated. A must see if you chose to visit the Historical Dockyard.

This a a very good ship to visit to see the early warship configuration. It is amazing how many people lived and worked on board in such close quarters.
