As a visitor to Southsea I went with family (inc 3 grandchildren aged 5, 7 and 9) to see 'The girl with no heart' performed by Sparkle and Darks travelling players at this very unusual theatre. Well worth a visit to see the quirky interior and to learn about the history of the building which survived 2 World Wars. The performance itself was excellent, brought to life by the use of puppetry and shadow, some superb acting and 2 excellent musicians enhancing the atmosphere. The whole experience was really unusual and such a pity that more people did not support this show and the theatre. Lets hope this will help to give a little more publicity to this lovely project-our very best wishes for their future.
