My partner and I saw the opera Carmen at this magnificent theatre. It really is a joy to behold and inside, the architecture is just stunning. There are several bars in the twisty corridors and the toilets are lovely and clean. The staff appear proud of their theatre and all were happy, helpful and friendly. We were in the upper circle in row B and this was the only problem we found. My partner isn't that tall and as the seats are unusually high, her feet couldn't touch the floor! Whereas I am average height and found the legroom very tight. We tried seats in row A when the show was finished and the legroom was even worse. But even that didn't take away the enjoyment of this beautiful venue.
Although on street parking is free in most areas close to the 'Kings', please allow PLENTY of time for parking, as spaces are very hard to find. You will probably end up with a 10-15 minute walk back to the theatre once you have parked.
