The Mary Rose is an amazing vessel and it is displayed in a purpose built centre. The volunteers help to bring it to life with stories and pointing out the related artefacts.

The ship has been through a lot. Learning about the history of the Mary Rose was interesting. The ship was much bigger than I thought.

A great experience, certainly a lot has been put into the whole centre, very clever use of holograms.

£17 for a adult ticket.

Easy walking access from either the train station or the Gosport ferry.

We loved the way the ship, artifacts and information are laid out.

They also provided carriable seats for those who are less mobile. I saw a lot of families with young children using them.

At various points around the exhibit there are knowledgeable staff to answer questions on items they have in front of them. There's even an area you handle items from the Mary Rose, try pulling a bow or pick up a pike!

The holographic images that start up every 15 minutes were excellent and gave you a good idea what it must have been like back in the day.

It's a shame that it's not included in the historical dockyard passport available for purchase.

Fantastic facility housing the salvaged remains of The Mary Rose. Well worth a visit to see this and the many artefacts salvaged from the sea bed. Well worth a visit
