Great hotel better than expected as they have had a refurb !! My son loved the play area in the pub nxt door and the staff at the hotel were great with him also it was extremely hot while we was there and the staff had no problems in getting us a fan and anything else they could to make us comfortable! Great place and will be back !!!

We stayed here as we had a 7am boat the following day.

It was ridiculously cheap and very good value. The room was neat tidy and more than adequate for our needs.

The bed was a good size and very comfortable- the only issue we had was that despite the window being open all night our room was very warm which made it difficult to sleep. Due to where it was placed it was also noisy outside.

Would definitely stay again the next time we bob to France though.

Read the reviews before arriving and was living in dread. However they have renovated the rooms and redecorated the place and I must admit I was impressed.
We are only using this hotel because we are on the early ferry and this is ideally placed.
The staff was very frendly and helpful. We did not have the breakfast so I am unable to comment. We did however have a meal in the pub attached to the hotel and it was well priced and very tasty.
Over all I would recommend this place for an overnight stay.

me and my children stayed for 3 nights here in the beginning of may. I chose this hotel as it is only 10 min walk to my sister house we were there for her wedding we had no real problems with this hotel and for the price it was more than fine ,just one or two things would have made it better/ you have to go all the way round the back of the hotel to check in (ok if you have a car ,we didn't) a hairdryer would of been useful and the shower was hit and miss and they say you have 17 tv channels no we didn't because half of them was fuzzy but saying all that we will use again because of how close it is to my sister's .

We stayed here overnight before an 8:15 ferry to Caen. You could see the ferry port from our bedroom window, so didn't need to get up early to find it! The rooms were clean and well appointed. We had a family room which had two single beds as well as the double, and there was still enough room for a travel cot. We ate downstairs in the adjoined pub, which was cheap and cheerful. All in all good for what we needed it for, which was a good nights sleep.

We stayed here two years ago and were really disappointed with the place, which was a bit tired then. Compared to other Travelodges this one wasn't great, but for the convenience of the ferry port it is in an excellent location.

However, we stayed here again just the other week and we were really impressed with the transformation. The hotel has had a complete refurbishment and has brought the hotel up to the same standard as other ones we have stayed in up and down the country.

The rooms were spotless, well equipped and comfortable. The check in staff (Sue and Emma) were lovely with nothing being too much trouble and always smilling and bubbly.

Would recommend this place now with no hesitation.

Room Tip: As for a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the car park. The hotel is situated on a busy ma...
