Free!!! Great views over to the Isle of Wight and a burger/chip van on-site. Worth going day or night as the view changes.

The views are very good both south over the Solent and IOW and North to Butser and Winchester. Good place to walk the dog as I do several times a week as I live on the hill.

It's not been mucked about with. Wonderful walk or cycle from Havant to Fareham, with stops at Mick's burger van, which has arguably the best view from the hill, and the Churchillian pub nearby. The road can be quite fast, so care needs to be taken. Adventurers could go north to Southwick (OK pub!) and the really adventurous on to Wickham (from there it's not far to Fareham where there's a train station if you've had enough by then). The best views over the Solent to Southampton, all of the Isle of Wight, as far as The Witterings to the East, out to the Nab Tower in the Channel. Can get breezy at times.

Great views of Portsmouth Harbour with links to the countryside loads of flora and fauna. Ample car parking to just pull up and chill for a while and take in the views.

On a fine day, the views available from the top of the hill are magnificent. You will learn the relationship between Pportsea Island in front of you, with the Isle of Wight, Southampton, Chichester, The Solent and Spithead.
