Easily found due to bright outside decor. Easy parking behind. Was recommended Tin tins by a friend, read reviews, and was not disappointed.

Whilst looking for food in Portsmouth and being put off a bit by the forbidding looking pubs, we came across the Tin Tin. As others have mentioned the outside decor is a bit like a scene from the Likely Lads, but don't let that put you off. The food is very good indeed, we had the set menu at about £18 a head, which includes crispy duck. The beer: The only one on draft is Carlsberg (or Carling) at £3 a pint, which is reasonable for round here.

We came to Portsmouth for the night and were off to gunwharf quay for food. The taxi driver recommended tintins. The outside doesn't look gret but inside the interior is clean warm and welcoming. There were 6 of us and the staff arranged the tables so we could fit in. We choose the set menu which was great value for money and so tasty. The staff were helpful service great and reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend. Also just next to the quay.

if your in pompey and are looking for great chinese food then head for the hard and tin tin, you cant miss it its painted pink, dont let this put you off inside the decor reminds me of a chinese ten years ago, but the food and service here is top notch every dish is tasty from the soup to the bannana fritters, one word of advice go in there hungry as the portions are very generous it will be our regular chinese from now on, you will not be dissapointed at tin tin believe me.
